PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Indiana State golf team officially began its season on Monday and after 36 holes sits in eighth place at the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic. The Sycamores shaved six strokes off their score from round one to round two (344-338) in their first tournament action in a little over a year.
Junior
Lauren Green leads the Sycamores after one day, sitting in a tie for 17
th on the leaderboard after rounds of 77 and 83 on the day. The Merseyside, England native had three birdies in her opening round on the way to a season-opening +5.
Indiana State will conclude play with the third and final round tomorrow.
