CHARLESTON, S.C. – Junior Madison Branum and sophomore Chelsea Morrow lead the Indiana State golf team after the first day of the 2021 Kiawah Island Classic on Sunday, Feb. 28. Day two of the competition is set to begin Monday morning, with the Sycamores teeing off at 8:40.

Branum and Morrow each shot +7 79 on the par 72 Cougar Point course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, tying them for 116th. As a team, Indiana State is currently in 38^th place.

After 36 holes of play, the Top 19 teams will play for the championship at Cougar Point during the final round, while teams 20-41 will play for a flight championship at Oak Point.
