TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State volleyball hits the road this weekend to continue Missouri Valley Conference action with two matches in the state of Illinois. The Sycamores begin at Bradley on Friday at 7 p.m. and then head to Normal to finish the road trip against Illinois State with a 7 p.m. start on Saturday night. Both matches will air on The Valley On ESPN with Friday on ESPN Plus and Saturday's match on ESPN3.
» The Sycamores enter the weekend on a two-match winning streak after taking down Valparaiso and Missouri State. Indiana State's 3-0 sweep of the Bears was just the fourth win over MSU in program history. Overall, ISU sits at 13-9 on the season and 5-7 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The latest edition of the NCAA RPI report (Oct. 31) has four MVC teams featured in the top-100. Loyola leads the League at No. 51, while Valparaiso (No. 83), Evansville (No. 86) and Illinois State (No. 97) are also among the nation's top-100. Four other teams rank in the Top 160 (Missouri State, Indiana State, Bradley and UNI). The Valley ranks 8th as a league in RPI.

Melina Tedrow continues to climb the Indiana State record book -- now in fifth place in program history with 1,565 career digs. Tedrow sits behind Stephanie Bindernagel (1,677), Kiya James (1,706) and Cheryl Berg (1,713). Kristy Cox (2005-08) sits as the all-time leader in digs with 1,841 over her career.
» Indiana State has held steady in digs per set nationally -- ranking 35th overall and second in the MVC with 16.43 digs per set. Libero
Melina Tedrow ranks second in the MVC with 4.71 digs per set which puts her at 51st nationally.

Kaitlyn Hamilton has been a consistent force for the Sycamores this season, finishing with eight or more kills in 17 of 22 matches played. The Lawrence, Kansas native has had double-digit kills in eight matches, including a season-high 16 kills in a win over Drake. The outside hitter has also made her presence known on defense with 43 blocks on the season.
» Indiana State ranks fourth in the MVC as a team, hitting .217 while on the flip side holding opponents to a .177 hitting percentage which ranks second in the League.
Kaitlyn Hamilton (209 K) and
Karinna Gall (207 K) rank 20th and 23rd, respectively in the MVC.

Chloe Mason ranks third in the MVC and 45th nationally with .41 aces per set. She has totaled 29 aces in 70 sets overall and has recorded at least one ace in all but three matches this season. The setter has put up a season-high four aces on two separate occasions this fall with the last happening during a 3-1 victory over Southern Illinois (10/11).

Chloe Mason and
Emma Kaelin both rank in the top 15 in the MVC in assists per set. Mason is averaging 5.59 with Kaelin right behind her at 5.38. Mason has picked up 20 or more assists in ten matches, including three 32 assist matches. Kaelin has recorded 451 assists overall and has 16 matches with 15 or more assists. She picked up a season-high 42 assists in a win at Belmont (9/4).
