TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State travels to Normal, Illinois for the Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship Thursday, Nov. 25-Saturday, Nov. 27. The Sycamores will matchup with No. 3 seed Bradley Thursday at 7 p.m. and would face No. 2 seed, and host, Illinois State Friday at 7 p.m. The title match is set for Saturday at 5 p.m. All matches throughout the tournament will stream on ESPN Plus.

COVID-19 ARENA PROTOCOLS
Per the state of Illinois, all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear face coverings inside Redbird Arena. Fans may remove masks while eating or drinking but should mask at all other times while in the Redbird Arena. Athletes and coaches may remove masks while they are in the bench area.
» Loyola locked up the outright MVC regular season title with Saturday's 3-1 win at UNI. The title is the Ramblers first as a member of The Valley and first since a 2002 Horizon League championship. Loyola is looking for its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2005 when it captured an automatic bid by winning the Horizon League Championship. The Ramblers have made five trips to the NCAA Tournament in program history – 1995, 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2005.
» The latest edition of the NCAA RPI report (Nov. 22) has been released and the Valley has three teams featured in the top-100. Valparaiso leads the league at No. 70, while Loyola Chicago (No. 71) and Illinois State (No. 78) are also among the nation's top-100. Five other teams rank in the Top 136 (Bradley, Evansville, Missouri State, Indiana State, and UNI). The Valley ranks 8th as a league in RPI.
» Indiana State volleyball has put together one of its best seasons in some time currently with a 17-11 mark, securing a winning record for the first time since 2015 when the team finished 17-16. It's 9-9 finish in league play ties its best finish in program history -- a mark also set in 2014.

Melina Tedrow continues to climb the Indiana State record book -- now in fifth place in program history with 1,672 career digs. Tedrow sits behind Stephanie Bindernagel (1,677), Kiya James (1,706) and Cheryl Berg (1,713). Kristy Cox (2005-08) sits as the all-time leader in digs with 1,841 over her career.

Melina Tedrow was named Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention by the MVC Tuesday. Tedrow owns a 3.60 GPA while majoring in marketing. It marks the third time of her career that she has earned MVC Scholar-Athlete and being named to the First Team in 2019 and 2020.
» Indiana State continues to hold strong in digs per set nationally -- ranking 40th overall and second in the MVC with 16.44 digs per set. Tedrow ranks third in the MVC with 4.58 digs per set which puts her at 69th nationally.
