TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's basketball fell to Northern Iowa inside the Hulman Center, 95-69, on Friday evening behind strong shooting from the Panthers.

The Sycamores fell to 4-8 (1-6) on the season while Northern Iowa improved to 7-7 (4-3).

Adrian Folks led the way offensively for the Sycamores, posting a career-high 21 points to go along with six rebounds and a block.
Caitlin Anderson was the only other ISU athlete in double-figures, ending her night with 12 points, five rebounds and two assists. As a team, the Trees managed to out-rebound the Panthers, 32-29.

Freshman Maya McDermott led UNI with 20 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor while senior Karli Rucker added 17 points and four assists. The Panthers finished the game shooting 32-of-51 (62.7%) from the field compared to Indiana State's 24-of-60 (40.0%).

The Blue & White did manage to compete with Northern Iowa in the paint, as both squads ended the evening with 36 points in the paint. The difference came behind the three-point line with the Panthers finishing 13-of-26 while ISU ended 2-of-6.

Both teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon with tipoff slated for 4 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
