TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Northern Iowa completed the weekend sweep over Indiana State women's basketball on Saturday when they defeated the Sycamores, 88-53.

With the loss, Indiana State fell to 4-9 (1-7) while UNI improved to 8-7 (5-3) on the year.

Three Sycamores ended the day in double-figures, led once again by
Adrian Folks with 12 points and seven rebounds. She was joined by
Caitlin Anderson who added 11 points and
Jamyra McChristine with 10 points and six boards. The Trees shot just 21-of-64 (32.8%) from the floor and 2-of-11 (18.2%) from deep.

For the opposition, Bre Gunnels led a quartet of Panthers in double-figures scoring, ending with 13 points and five rebounds. Northern Iowa converted on 30-of-54 (55.6%) attempts from the field and 10-of-26 (38.5%) from deep.

Despite getting outrebounded 39-30, the Blue & White still managed to get it done on the offensive glass, holding a 13-8 advantage over the Panthers. ISU owned an 11-7 advantage in second chance opportunities.

Indiana State won't get a full week of rest before returning to action, as they head down to Evansville, Ind., for a Wednesday matchup with the Purple Aces. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
