Dayton held a 29-6 edge in shots, including a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Flyers had their share of scoring opportunities as they held an 8-1 cushion in corner kicks.
Walhberg was credited with five shots in the match, including three shots on goal. Freshmen
Olivia Sharar,

Kate Face had the other shots for the Sycamores in the contest.
Nearly 90 percent of the Sycamores' shots this season have come from either freshmen or sophomores and in the victory over Dayton, all nine of them were by first-year players.
The Sycamores will look to keep the momentum rolling as they begin a season-long five-match home stand and host Belmont on Friday, September 13 at 7 pm (ET) inside the friendly confines of Memorial Stadium. The game is scheduled for national broadcast on ESPN+.
