Former ISU Standout Amy Walker to be Inducted into Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame

NEW CASTLE, Ind. – Former Indiana State women's basketball standout Amy Walker (Sundt) will be inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the 2020 class, the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Board of Directors announced on Tuesday.
 
Walker (Sundt) is one of 11 women set to be inducted into the Indiana Hall of Fame and will be honored at the 19th Annual Women's Awards Banquet.
 
Walker (Sundt) played for the Sycamores from 1991-1995 and ranks 11th all-time in scoring as she recorded 1,333 points in her collegiate career. She was an All-MVC First Team selection in 1994-95 as she led the league in scoring (19.8 ppg.). She still ranks sixth all time in field goals made (556) and sixth in assists (379). She was the first ever Sycamore to record a triple-double (13 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists vs. Illinois State on Feb. 18, 1995).
 
She was also a member of two state finalist teams at Bedford North Lawrence before stardom at Indiana State. A 1991 Indiana All-Star, she was a member of BNL's 1991 state championship and 1990 state runner-up teams, as part of three consecutive undefeated regular seasons.  She was part of teams winning three sectional and conference championships, three regional and two semi-state titles and an overall record of 78-2.  She averaged 15.2 points and 5.1 steals per game as a senior and was named Associated Press state finals MVP.
 
The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame's 19thAnnual Women's Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020. The day's events will include a free reception at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame museum that afternoon and a banquet that evening at the Primo Banquet Hall in Indianapolis.
