Sycamore Basketball Season Tickets On Sale Now

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Season ticket and Flex 5 packages are on sale now for the 2018-19 Indiana State Basketball campaign, which will once again feature a full slate of home games inside Hulman Center including contests against all nine Missouri Valley Conference members. The non-conference schedule will be released later this summer with the full schedule announcement coming in mid-September.

"We have had a terrific offseason where we have gotten bigger, faster and stronger as well as competed hard against each other," ninth-year head coach Greg Lansing said. "The coaching staff really likes what we have returning as well as what we have added to our team. I know you will enjoy watching and supporting this team. The Missouri Valley Conference returns 39 starters from last year so the league will be outstanding again this season. We are excited for the Hulman Center renovations to begin and look forward to a challenging season. Renew and buy your season tickets right away and help 'recruit' more Sycamore fans as we continue to make Hulman Center a tough place for opposing teams to play."
 

Indiana State returns three starters from last season's team led by Jordan Barnes who was named the Missouri Valley Conference's Most Improved Player as well as second team all-league. Barnes led the team with a 17.4 ppg average and hit 117 3-pointers which set a new single-season school record was the fourth-most ever in the league's history and finished fourth nationally. Tyreke Key also returns after averaging 8.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and was named to the league's all-freshman team.

Cooper Neese who hails from nearby Cloverdale, Ind., as well as Christian Williams, a transfer from Iowa are practicing with the team and will be eligible to compete after the fall semester. De'Avion Washington, a local product from Terre Haute, trades in the red and black of Terre Haute South Vigo High School for the Royal Blue and White of Indiana State. Washington joins Neese as alums of the Indiana All-Star team on the current roster. Also new this season will be Blake Brinkmeyer who comes from West Des Moines, Iowa and will add depth inside for the Sycamores. ISU takes advantage once again of the graduate transfer rule with the addition of Allante Holston who comes to the program after spending the previous three at North Texas. 

New this season is the addition of the Flex 5 plan which puts the fan in control! With your Flex 5 purchase, you will receive 5 lower level ticket vouchers redeemable for any game (will not be valid for the home game on January 19). You can use all five for one game or spread them out over the course of the season. Exact seating will be determined at time of redemption. Flex 5 vouchers can be redeemed on game day or throughout the season at Hulman Center during regular business hours.

There are several different price points for season tickets, but all packages will include the full slate. Below are all of the pricing options available in 2018-19 for Sycamore Basketball. Purchasing season tickets is the only way to guarantee access to preferred seating locations for all home games this season, including for games which will feature special events which are yet to be announced.

The Sycamore Athletic Fund (SAF) reminds everyone that the donation that is required to purchase season tickets can be designated to any of the sport programs at Indiana State or can be split among several different programs. Donations to Sycamore Athletics directly support our teams, fund improvements for our athletics facilities, and most importantly, encourages our student-athletes to excel in competition and in the classroom. Due to the Tax Code Act of 2017, the donation portion for preferred seating is no longer tax deductible, however, it will still count towards your Varsity Club Membership Level.

The athletic donation that is required to purchase preferred seating season tickets may be spread out with various payment arrangements made with the Sycamore Athletic Fund by calling 812-237-6134. Complimentary parking passes are provided to all Champions' Circle members of the Varsity Club who purchase Indiana State Basketball season tickets. Based on membership level, Champions' Circle members will be provided one (1) or two (2) regular and/or reserved parking passes. All season ticket holders who donate less than $1,500 annually are eligible to purchase a maximum of two (2) Indiana State Basketball Parking Passes. Parking passes are available for $25 each and grant access to several parking areas near Hulman Center.

Additionally, your purchase of Sycamore Basketball season tickets will allow you to purchase the same amount of women's basketball season tickets at a 50 percent discount off regular price. 

As always, the season culminates in St. Louis for Arch Madness. When purchasing season tickets, fans may choose to add on tickets to the Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Tournament for a discounted rate of $155. Arch Madness will be held March 7-10, 2019 at the Enterprise Center. Once again, the team hotel is the Hilton Downtown (400 Olive St.). The Sycamores Kids Club returns again in 2018-19 and any child younger than the age of entering 8th grade may sign up for just $15. A membership includes one complimentary ticket to all regular season home football, basketball, women's basketball and baseball games plus other great experiences. Those interested in signing up can find a registration form on GoSycamores.com or by visiting the Hulman Center Box Office. Sycamores Kids Club complimentary seats will be subject to restrictions from certain locations at Indiana State venues.

Finally, any fan or business owner that would like to rent the Sycamore Basketball Party Deck at Hulman Center may contract the SAF at 812-237-6134.The full deck includes VIP access for 5 Additionally, your purchase of Sycamore Basketball season tickets will allow you to purchase the same amount of women's basketball season tickets at a 50 percent discount off regular price. 60 guests and costs $800, while the half deck seats 30 guests and costs $500. Custom food and drink menus are available through Sodexo Catering Services.

Renewal packages have already been sent via U.S. Mail to all basketball season ticket holders from last season.
