BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Indiana State fell prey to the long ball Sunday as Toledo used a pair of home runs in a 4-1 win over the Sycamores at the Hilltopper Classic in Bowling Green.

The Rockets used two solo home runs – in the third and sixth inning – as well as an RBI walk and an RBI single to keep the game out of reach for Indiana State. The Sycamores would threaten to tie in the top of the seventh, loading the bases with two outs, but was unable to get a run home as the game drew to its conclusion.

Shaye Barton scored the lone run of the game for the Sycamores, going a perfect 3-for-3 from the plate. The junior third baseman registered a double and a pair of singles.
