SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Rhiannon Morozoff posted a career-high kills and four Sycamores registered double-digit digs but it wouldn't be enough for Indiana State in a 3-1 loss at Missouri State Saturday evening. Set scores were 25-22, 24-26, 25-14 and 25-14.
 
Indiana State (9-18, 2-13 Missouri Valley) was led by Morozoff's career-best 15 kills and .314 hitting percentage but the Trees would only hit .178 as a team in the match, compared to Missouri State (15-12, 8-6) hitting .254. Amelia Flynn led the Bears with 21 kills.
 
Melina Tedrow recorded her sxith career and third consecutive double-double, posting 40 assists and tied for a team-leading 16 digs. Jade York also registered 16 digs while Laura Gross (11) and Chloe Carenza (10) also reached double figures in digs.
 
SET 1 – Missouri State 25, Indiana State 22

• The opening set featured nine ties and four lead changes.
• Indiana State out-hit Missouri State in the set, .282 to .170.
• ISU posted out-blocked MSU in the set, 3-2.
• Rhiannon Morozoff and Madeline Williams led the Sycamores with four kills each.
• Laynie Dake led the Bears with six kills.

SET 2 – Indiana State 26, Missouri State 24

• The close second set featured 12 ties and seven lead changes.
• The Sycamores out-hit Missouri State in the set, .341 to .326.
• Melina Tedrow led the Trees defensively with seven digs in the set.
• Rhiannon Morozoff led ISU offensively with five kills.
• Missouri State was led by the seven kills of Amelia Flynn.

SET 3 – Missouri State 25, Indiana State 14

• Missouri State led by as much as 11 at 21-10 and never trailed.
• Rhiannon Morozoff led ISU with four kills in the set.
• The Bears out-hit ISU, .250 to .023.
• Amelia Flynn led MSU with six kills in the frame.

SET 4 – Missouri State 25, Indiana State 14

• Indiana State was out-hit in the set, .278 to .061.
• The Bears registered 21 digs in the set to Indiana State's 12.
• Damadj Johnson led ISU with three kills in the frame.
• Jade York led the Trees with five digs in the set.

• Rhiannon Morozoff recorded a career-best 15 kills with a career-high .314 hitting percentage.
• Melina Tedrow (40 assists, 16 digs) recorded a double-double for the sixth time in her young career and for the third consecutive match.
• With the loss, Indiana State now trails the all-time series 1-65. Missouri State has claimed 52 consecutive wins in the series.
• This marked the second consecutive time ISU has claimed a set when facing Missouri State. The last time ISU went consecutive matches against the Bears and won at least a single set was 2015.
