ST. LOUIS - Akis Medrano and
Alli Workman have been named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Teams, the Valley announced Tuesday morning.

Â
Akis Medrano earned All-Valley honors at the MVC Championships in Peoria last Saturday by placing third in the men's 8K race with the third-best time in school history of 24:06.30. The senior currently holds a 3.25 GPA in criminology and criminal justice.

Â
Twenty-eight women's and men's student-athletes met the criteria. Bradley had the most honorees on the men's and women's side, with six men and three women. Between the two races, all MVC Schools are represented.
Â
