Terre Haute, Ind.—Indiana State suffered a 4 to 0 defeat in the second game of the season to the Louisville Cardinals. The Sycamores now hold a 1-1-0 record while Louisville improves to a 1-0-1 record to start the 2016 season.
Offensively ISU was held to two shots on goal. Katie Sullivan and Natalie Kesselring held one shot a piece.
Defensively the Sycamores allowed 24 shots with 12 on goal. Goalkeeper Brittany San Roman had eight saves in the match.
The Sycamores return to action on Aug. 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium to face off with Akron.
