ST. LOUIS -- Indiana State junior Aaron Carter as well as sophomore Jordan Printy have been named All-Missouri Valley Scholar Athlete Second Team members by the league office. MVC Scholar-Athletes are voted upon by the league's sports information directors.

Carter, who was an honorable mention selection last season, carries a 3.34 GPA in Business Marketing. He has played in 29 contests, starting three and finished the regular season by averaging 7.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game. His 44.8 percent mark from 3-point range (26-of-58) ranks second-best in the league for MVC contests only. Carter scored a season-high 19 points against Bradley, hitting 7-of-10 shots from the field, including a 3-of-4 mark from 3-point range. He converted three conventional "4-point plays" this season and reached double-figures scoring seven times this season. Carter was named an honorable mention academic all-conference selection last season.

Printy, carries a 3.81 GPA in Social Studies Education. He has played in 30 contests, starting 17. He is averaging 6.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per game. Printy has reached double-figures scoring eight times this season and posted a career-high with 18 points at Missouri State, by hitting a career-high six 3-pointers versus the Bears. His 39.8 percent mark in league contests from 3-point range is seventh-best while his 1.9 treys per game are tied for sixth. Printy also ranks in the league's top 10 for overall 3-point percentage (40.0 percent is ninth).
