TERRE HAUTE, IND. – Indiana State men's basketball head coach
Matthew Graves announced the signing of Naszier "Duce" Paschal ("Pash-el.")
Duce Paschal, a native of Portland, Ore., spent his freshman season at Weber State. He averaged 3.7 points per game and 2.5 rebounds per game and was second on the team in total steals with 27.
"We are very excited to add Duce to the Sycamore family," said head coach
Matthew Graves. "He is a proven winner and a team-first guy that brings a great deal of versatility with his game. Duce brings experience as a DI player, and we look forward to his continued development."
Paschal played in 31 games with 16 starts, including earning the starting nod in the final 13 games of the season. He averaged 12.8 minutes per game on the season, but over those final 13 games that average grew to 18.1 per game.
Prior to Weber State, Paschal was a winner in high school. In his junior season, his high school (Central Catholic, located in Portland) won the 6A State Championship under head coach David Blue, and his senior-season team finished 21-7.
