All meets will take place at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course located just east of Terre Haute, Indiana. The course was designed to allow spectators easy viewing of nearly all the race course, while affording the athletes an ideal racing environment. The course is NCAA regulation width and has an all grass running lane with gentle up-hills and wide turns. The 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2003, the Great Lakes Regionals took place on the course. A state of the art finish line building was completed in November of 1999. A great deal of additional fencing was added to the course in 2004 and 2005. We began using a new women's 6,000 meter course in 2006. The NCAA Championships were held on the course in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
