TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State cross country capped a busy Friday with six Sycamores taking part in the XC Town Twilight at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
 
All three Sycamore entries on the women's side earned top-25 finishes, led by Hallie Mimbela in 10th with a 6k time of 23:45.2. Robyn Schemel crossed the line in 24:28.1 to place 16th, while Ada Sabo clocked a time of 24:51.6 to finish 21st.
 
The Blue and White also had a pair of top-20 entries on the men's side, with Alex Alvarez leading the Trees in 11th with an 8k time of 27:19.8. Jocqael Thorpe placed 16th with a time of 27:31. 9. Tommy Claxton was alongside Alvarez for the first 5k of the race before dropping out.
 
Indiana State also took part in the Joe Piane Invite earlier in the day at Notre Dame, with a recap of the Sycamores' day in South Bend available HERE.
