2014 - Played in 110 sets, making 30 starts … dished out a team-best 1168 assists (10.62 per set) which ranked fourth in the MVC … recorded 10 assists-dig double-doubles on the season … distributed a career-high 60 assists in a five set win over Southern Illinois … posted seven games with 50 assists or more … added 60 kills including a season-high five kills against Youngstown State … contributed 25 service aces including a season-high three twice (vs. Southern Utah and vs. Southern Illinois) … notched 253 total digs, which ranked fourth on the team … added a season-high 18 digs in a five set win over Southern Illinois … posted 39.0 total blocks including a season-high five against Southern Utah in the SIUE Cougar Classic.
2013 – Competed in 18 games, starting six … posted seven kills in 26 attempts, -.038 attack percentage, was second in assists with 150, had seven service aces, 83 digs, three blocks, and scored 16 points during season … had season game highs of .400 attack percentage , three kills and three points (vs. Akron), six attempts (vs. Murray State), 41 assists and 17 digs (vs. SIU Edwardsville), two aces (vs. Saint Louis and vs. North Carolina Central), and one block (three times).
2012 – Competed in 26 games, starting 10 … had 22 kills, 319 set assists, 17 service aces, 137 digs, 10 blocks, and 45 points during season … had four kills (vs. Butler), 10 attempts (vs. DePaul), 54 set assists (vs. DePaul), 15 digs (vs. DePaul), three aces (vs. Butler, Drake, and Chicago State), and two blocks (vs. Drake, DePaul, Temple and Butler).
BEFORE ISU – Lettered in volleyball for three seasons at Portage Central High School … played in state finals as a sophomore … named All-Conference in 2010 and 2011 … named All-Region 2009, 2010, 2011 … named All-State in 2009, 2010, and 2011 … named Academic All-State in 2011 … was team’s Most Valuable Player in 2010 and 2011 … had 3,370 career assists with 1,027 coming her senior season … also had 284 digs, 48 aces (led team), and 110 kills … competed on Dead Frog Volleyball Club with ISU teammate, Cassandra Willis.
PERSONAL – Erika Colleen Nord was born on Sept. 30, 1993, in Kalamazoo, Mich., the daughter of Erik and Allison Nord … mother, Allison, played volleyball at Grand Valley State (1984-1988) … father, Erik, played baseball and basketball at Kellogg Community College and Aquinas (1984-1988) … has one sister, Andrea.
