Randi Garrett

Randi Garrett enters her first season as an assistant volleyball coach at Indiana State after joining the program in July 2024.

Garrett most recently spent six seasons across two stints on the coaching staff at Franklin College, including the last three as the Grizzlies' head volleyball coach. She led Franklin to 27 wins in her time at the helm of the program, while her teams averaged 15 or more digs per set in two of her three seasons as head coach. Garrett's three seasons as an assistant coach at Franklin saw the Grizzlies win double-digit matches every year, while defense remained a calling card with Franklin averaging better than 16 digs per set in each of her seasons as an assistant coach.

In between her two stints at Franklin, Garrett spent the 2020-21 season as an assistant coach at the University of Northwestern Ohio. Garrett's lone season at UNOH saw the Racers average more than two aces per set, with Northwestern Ohio closing the season with back-to-back wins against Michigan-Dearborn.

Garrett also has coaching experience at the club level, having worked extensively with The Academy Volleyball Club in Indianapolis across multiple age groups.

Garrett is a 2014 graduate of Dominican (N.Y.), where she played four years with the Chargers. As a student-athlete, she tallied more than 500 kills, 175 digs and 150 blocks for her career. Garrett still ranks among the top 10 in program history in block assists and total blocks. Dominican won 67 games in her time as a Charger, including a CACC title and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2012.
