Caitlin Genovy is entering her second year as a graduate assistant with the Indiana State Volleyball program during the 2019 season.
Prior to joining the Sycamore coaching staff, Genovy spent a year playing professional volleyball for Volley-Ball La Rochette in France as the only setter for the team.
Genovy also played collegiately, spending five years at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. During her time at McMaster, she was a member of two Ontario University Athletics Conference Championships (2014, 2017) and she was also a Second Team All-Star in 2018.Â
Indiana State isn't Genovy's first coaching stop, as she served as an assistant coach for Team Ontario in 2017 and then again in 2019. She most recently coached the 16U girls to the silver at the 18U Canada Cup. The Stoney Creek, Ontario native also acted as the assistant coach for Halton Regional Volleyball Club during the 2018-19 season where she helped coach the 16U girls team to provincial and national titles.
Genovy graduated from McMaster University in 2018 with a degree in Kinesiology.Â
