Will Lange joins the Sycamores as assistant coach to the Indiana State women’s soccer staff for his second season during the 2015 season.

 

Lange joins the program after serving as a volunteer assistant with the Sycamores in 2013 where he assisted with goalkeepers and two years as a graduate assistant with Rose-Hulman men’s soccer.

 

At Rose-Hulman, Lange helped make history as the 2013 squad defeated the No. 1 seed Ohio Wesleyan on Nov. 16 to advance to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 for the first time in program history. In 2012, Lange also helped Rose-Hulman collect a HCAC regular season conference title while going undefeated in conference play with an 8-0-1 record. In his two years with Rose-Hulman, Lange has compiled a 24-10-8 overall record and 14-1-3 conference record.

 

Lange played four seasons of NCAA Division III soccer at Greenville College, where the team was 59-25-8 during his playing career and qualified for three NCAA Tournaments. A native of St. Louis, Mo., Lange graduated from St. John Vianney High School in 2007. 

 

Lange holds a National B Coaching License, and a National Goalkeeper Coaching License from the United States Soccer Federation.  He also holds an NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1 license as well as an NSCAA Youth Level 2 license.  Lange earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science with a minor in Coaching at Greenville as well as earning his master's degree in Coaching from Indiana State University.
