Rebecca Zakrajsek, a current professor at Indiana State will serve as the team’s full-time Sports Enhancement Coach.

Dr. Zakrajsek, a professor in the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services, is a graduate of West Virginia University where she obtained her Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Sport & Exercise Psychology. Zakrajsek also earned a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling while at WVU.

Over the past 7 years, she has worked with a number of Division I and II teams mainly focusing on performance enhancement techniques and coping with injury. Zakrajsek joined the Sycamore soccer team at the beginning of the ‘08 spring semester but has informally observed and worked with the team since the completion of last year’s season.
