Ola Shogelola

Ola Shogelola joined the Indiana State women's soccer program in the summer of 2025 following a collegiate coaching career that includes stints at both DePauw University and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Shogelola will work primarily with the Sycamore goalkeepers, while adding experience in working with data, video, and opponent scouting. This continues his trend of taking the lead after developing a database and strategies for scouting, tracking, and consistently recruiting top student-athletes at DePauw.

Shogelola joins the Sycamores following a three-year stop at DePauw that culminated in the program's 2024 conference tournament championship and first berth into the NCAA Tournament since 2015 after posting a 12-6-3 overall record. The Tigers' 2024 run continued the growing development of the program after advancing to the conference tournament championship in 2023, while adding a semifinalist spot in the 2022 season. He was a member of the NCAC 2022 Coaching Staff of the Year.

During his time at SMWC (2018-22), Shogelola served as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach, where he helped oversee a team that held a 29-21-5 record between 2018-2022. In 2021 the team finished in third place, the highest finish in program history to date, and helped them qualify for their conference tournament for the first time. He was apart of the USCAA 2019 coaching staff of the year and qualified for the USCAA national tournament.

Shogelola volunteered coached for the women's soccer team at Saint Mary of the Woods College from 2018-2020, and in 2020 also volunteered coached the Indiana State University women's soccer team.
