Cross Country

2013 - Dickerson ran a time of 19:52.7 at the Notre Dame Invitational to place 145th. She also placed 18th at the Evansville Mid-American Opener in a time of 16:42.80 for 4,000 meters. Dickerson was 184th at Pre-Nationals with a 23:45.9 for 6,000 meters, 58th at the MVC Championships in 19:34.0 and 158th at the Great Lakes Regional in 23:20. 

Indoor Track & Field

2014 - Competed in 800 meters … ran personal best 2:18.46 in winning at EIU Friday Night Special.

Outdoor Track & Field

2014 – Competed in 400 and 800 meters … ran personal best 2:17.02 in 800 meters in placing 15th in preliminaries of event at MVC Indoors.

Before ISU

Middle distance specialist for the North Vigo Patriots … sectional and regional champion in the 400 meters, 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 meter relays … placed 17th at the state (59.63) in 400 meters, ran leg of the 22nd place 4 x 400 meter relay team, and helped the 4 x 800 meter relay team place fourth at state (9:08.17) … holds a personal best of 2:19.34 in 800 meters (sectional junior year) … was member of Terre Haute North cross team that placed 12th in the state … has personal best 20:08 for 5,000 meters.

Sydney Lauren Dickerson was born June 6, 1995 in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Christy and Robert Dickerson … has three siblings, Robin, Bobby and Cassidy … father, Robert, played golf at Indiana University.
