2018

MVC Scorer (Weight Throw, eighth place)

Competed in seven meets for the Sycamores in the throws...Placed eighth in the weight throw at the MVC Championships with a mark of 17.77m (58-03.75)...Recorded a personal-best mark of 17.91m (58-09.00) at the Meyo Invite...Also recorded a career-best in the shot put at the EIU Early Bird with a mark of 15.96m (52-04.25).

2017

Competed in eight meets for the Sycamores as a thrower...Recorded a personal-best mark in the shot put of 15.51m (50-10.75) at the EIU Early Bird.

2016

Competed in eight meets for the Sycamores in the shot put and weight throw...Finished 16th in the shot at the MVC Indoor Championships at a PR toss of 13.99m (45-10.75)...Finished 10th in the weight at the MVC Indoor Championships on a PR heave of 17.03m (55-10.50).

2018

MVC Champion (Javelin Throw)

Won the MVC Championship in the javelin with a toss of 58.76m (192-09) which is third in ISU history...Recorded a personal-best throw in the hammer throw at the Billy Hayes Invite at 54.92m (180-02)...Earned a personal-record mark in the shot put at the Pacesetter Invite at 15.98m (52-05.25)...Recorded a career-best toss of 34.48m (113-01) in the discus throw at the Gibson Invite.

2017

Competed in six meets for the Sycamores as a thrower...Recorded a season-best mark in the hammer throw of 48.30m (158-05.00) at the Pacesetter Sports Invite...Also recorded a season-best mark in the javelin throw of 34.81m (114-02.00) at the Gibson Invite.

2016

Did not compete.

High School

Part of a team at Avon that were six-time sectional champions and two-time Hoosier Crossroads Conference champions during his time...Avon also had three top-10 state finishes from 2013-15 and produced 77 All-State athletes in the timeframe...Finished seventh in the shot at the indoor state meet and 10th outdoors his senior season in 2015...Earned Most Improved after throwing 57-02 his senior season, compared to 39 feet his sophomore year.

Born Oct. 31, 1996, in Indianapolis to Ken and Mimi Overton...Has one younger brother, Jack...Majoring in physical education/exercise science.
