Indoor Track & Field –

2013 – Did not compete.

2012 –Named Second Team All-American in pole vault after finishing 13th at NCAA Indoors by clearing 13’-9.25” (4.20 meters) … named All-Conference in pole vault for second straight year … won pole vault at MVC Indoors with the second best height in school history in clearing 13’-11” (4.24 meters) … finished third at Virginia Tech Qualifier by clearing 13’-5” (4.09 meters).

2011 – Named All-Conference in pole vault … tied for second at MVC Indoor Championships by clearing 12’-4.5” (3.77 meters) … had personal best  and third best in school history at EIU Friday Night Special by clearing 12’-11.75” (3.96 meters).

Outdoor Track & Field –

2013 -  Second Team All-American … placed 13th at NCAA Finals by clearing 13’-7.25” (4.15m) … advanced to NCAA Finals after tying for first at NCAA East in pole vault by clearing 13’-5.25” (4.10 meters) … won second MVC title in pole vault and earned All-Conference recognition for second time after winning event at MVC Outdoors by clearing 13’-2.5” (4.03m) … cleared collegiate best and second best in school history of 13’-9.25” (4.20 meters) in placing third at Jesse Owens Track Classic.

2012 – Did not compete … named to Capital One All-District V Academic Second Team … named to MVC Track & Field Scholar-Athlete team for second year.

2011 – Missouri Valley Conference Champion and All-Conference after winning event at MVC Outdoor Championships by clearing 12’-4.5” (3.77 meters) … had personal best vault of 13’-1.5” (4.00 meters) at Billy Hayes Invitational, second best vault in school history … named to MVC Scholar-Athlete team.

Before ISU –

OHIO NORTHERN UNIVERSITY: Competed for two years at Ohio Northern University before transferring to Indiana State … Indoor All-Conference in pole vault in 2009 and 2010 … Outdoor conference champion in 2010 … Outdoor All-Conference in 2010 … named Academic All-American in 2009 … named Newcomer of the Year in 2009 … received 2010 Erin Hipp Ward of Excellence … was 2010 Indoor and Outdoor NCAA Division III National Qualifier.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in track & field three years at Wilmington High School … also lettered in cheerleading one year … named Second Team FAVC in 2007 and First Team FAVC in 2008 … named Field Event Athlete of the Year in 2007 and Most Valuable Player in 2008 … set school record, district, and Fort Actient Valley Conference record in pole vault.

Personal –

Nicole Lynn Hope was born on April 4, 1990, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Don and Jackie Hope … majoring in Exercise Science at Indiana State with plans to attend graduate school … interests include coaching gymnastics and riding horses … member Alpha Lambda Delta … father played football at Ohio Northern University.
