Cross Country –

2010 – Ran to second place finish at Sycamore Pride (22:16).

2009 - Finished 21st at Bradley Open (19:57) ... placed 59th at Indiana Intercollegiates (20:11.6).

 

Indoor Track & Field –

2010 – Competed in the 800 meters and mile ... had personal best time of 5:39.65 in mile at DePauw Tiger Invitational ... ran 2:39.04 in 800 meters at ISU Open.

 

Outdoor Track & Field –

2010 – Did not compete.

 

Before ISU –

Lettered four years in cross country, four years in track & field, and one year in swimming ... was named cross country MVP all four years ... was  named Most Improved in cross country as freshman ... received Sportsmanship Award in track & field as junior ... earned Leadership Award in track & field as senior ... set school 5K record at 19:54.

 

Personal –

Kate Lynn Tarr was born on Feb. 13, 1991, in Merrillville, Ind., the daughter of Amy and Jeff Tarr ... majoring in Health and Physical Education at Indiana State.
