A standout at Mahomet-Seymour High School where she was dominant on the track … In her time in high school she earned all-conference honors in the 100, 200, 400, 4 x 100, 4 x 200, 4 x 400, and the pole vault … also a state qualifier in the pole vault, 4 x 100, 400, where she placed 8th and 4th, and 4 x 400, where she placed 5th, 4th, 6th, and 8th place at the state finals … was voted team MVP and captain her junior and senior year.
