As a Senior (2015):
Appeared in 44 games in the circle for the Sycamores while straing 17 games...finshed the season with over 100 innings pitched for the second consecutive season and earned three saves to tie the ISU school record for saves in a season...allowed just one hit through 5.1 innings in the MVC tournament against the top offensive team in the league, Wichita State.
As a Junior (2014):
Appeared in 39 games in the circle for the Sycamores while getting the starting nod 26 times...Finished the season with a 3.62 ERA and tied for the MVC lead in wins in the regular season with 17...pitched 13 complete games with five shutouts and two saves over 176.0 innings pitched...as a hitter, the junior hit two home runs and three doubles for four RBI's...hit her first career home run against SEMO on March 19.
Before ISU:
Spent two years at Pima Community College where she played softball for two seasons...Earned MVP of Region Tournament honors as well as NJCAA All-American honors.
Prep:
A four year letter winner in Softball at Sahuarita High School in Sahuarita, Arizona...also competed in basketball...Named Player of the year and holds the Home Run and Strikeout Records.
Personal:
Born October, 1992 in Tucson, Arizona to Anna and Ernest Alvarez...has seven siblings, Crystal, Cindy, Samantha, Melissa, Ernie, Julian and Joseph...Plans to major in Criminology...hobbies include softball and basketball.
