Started in 13 games during his sophomore season ... Finished with a 3-5 record and a 4.75 ERA ... Struck out 41 batters in 66.1 innings on the mound ... Held opponents to a .250 average against ... Allowed 35 runs and walked 38 on the season ... Shutout Valpo with a four-strikeout game May 18 in a 16-0 win ... Set a season high in strikeouts two separate times with the first coming against Illinois State (Apr. 14) and the final against Evansville (May 11).

Played one season at Lincoln Land Community College under head coach Ron Riggle ... Earned All-Conference, All-Region and Third Team All-American honors ... Finished the season 10-1 with a 2.00 ERA ... Struck out 105 batters and walked just 25 in 76.1 innings for the Loggers ... A four-year letterwinner at Auburn High School under head coach Tommy Meyers ... Helped his squad to a regional championship his senior season ...
