Biography

Previous: Garcia signs with the Sycamores by way of Talladega College as the Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic native enters his junior season. Garcia started 57 games at shortstop for the Tornadoes over the course of the 2024 season posting a.359 batting average including 15 extra-base hits with eight doubles, a triple, and six home runs. He finished second on the team with 53 RBIs, 57 runs scored, and 42 stolen bases.
 
Garcia highlighted his sophomore season included 19 multi-hit games and 13 multi-RBI contest including a 2-for-3 game with a double and five RBIs against Blue Mountain Christian, while adding a 2-for-2 game with a double, home run, and seven RBIs against Tougaloo (Miss.).
 
He posted a career .321 batting average over 102 games at Talladega with 100 hits including 11 home runs, while driving in 78 RBIs and scoring 83 runs. He added a .437 on-base percentage with 43 career stolen bases.
 
He is the son of Norfis Garcia and Ramon Del Orbe and plans on majoring in sports management at Indiana State.
