Returning for his second season on staff as assistant coach of the Indiana State softball program is Scott Miller. Miller serves primarily as a hitting coach for the Sycamores and coached two players, Megan Stone and Shelby Wilson to season batting averages over .325.

Coach Scott Miller is no stranger to Bouman's coaching staffs as he has previously served as an assitant coach at both South Dakota State and Iowa Lakes CC working primarily with outfielders and hitting. Miller has been around the professional fastpitch scene for over 20 years and has competed in seven ISC World Fastpitch Tournaments, earning All-American honors. Miller graduated from Emporia State University (KS) and has taught and coached high school athletics for over thirty years, winning multiple Nebraska State High School Championships.
