Entering his first year as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach after serving for a year as a graduate assistant, Luke Harris will be designing and implementing the strength and conditioning programs for the Soccer, Golf, Baseball, and Track and Field teams. Luke oversees two of the graduate assistants working with Men’s basketball, Track and Field, Softball, Women’s Cross Country, and Cheer and Dance.  Luke Has also served as the internship coordinator, where he taught and supervised all volunteer interns throughout the year. Luke is currently pursuing a Master's in Exercise Science and his SCCC certification.

 

Luke is a 2013 graduate of Indiana State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.  He was also a two-time letter winner for the Indiana State Sycamore football team before a reoccurring injury ended his playing career.  While a player he earned the MVFC President's Council Academic Award and was also named a part of the 2013 Indiana State All-Academic Team.

 

A native of Whiteland, Ind., Luke attended Whiteland Community High School.  He currently resides in Terre Haute, Ind., with his wife Alexandra.
