2017-18: Saw action in nine contests before a season-ending injury hit at the end of non-conference play.
2016-17: Made his collegiate debut and scored six points, including his first career 3-pointer as well as three rebounds, two assists and two steals in the win over Missouri-St. Louis ... Converted a 3-pointer at Drake ... Recorded two assists against Southern Illinois.
2015-16: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Cedar Park HS where he averaged 14 points and eight assists per game as a senior in 2015 ... A four-year starter, Knight was named First Team All-Conference, All-Region and All-State as a senior ... He was a team captain and his high school district's Most Valuable Player ... At the state level, Knight was a semi-finalist for MVP ... His team won their conference, sectional and regional in 2014-15 en route to setting a school record with 28 victories and reached the state semifinals ... He ended his career with four consecutive all-conference honors and scored 941 career points while playing in 97 games ... Knight was named all-region twice and all-district for three consecutive years ... He added a second team all-state mention in 2014 as a junior and was the 2012 District 25 -- 4A Newcomer Of The Year ... Coached at Cedar Park High School by head coach Blake Brown where the team appeared in the post season for four consecutive seasons ... Additionally, Knight participated in the Texas Basketball Coaches All-Star Game in 2015 and was named to the list of academic all-state honorees ... Personal: Knight's mother is Annette Smith-Knight who was a first-team All-American at the University of Texas and the two-time Southwest Conference Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior who also won a gold medal for USA Basketball at the 1983 World University Games ... She led Judy Conradt's squad to the 1982 AIAW Championship runner-up spot and to two NCAA Elite Eight showings (in 1983 and 1984) as well ... This all culminated in 1986 when Texas earned the NCAA national title with a splendid 34-0 run to the national crown ... Smith-Knight continues to be the all-time leading Texas men's or women's basketball scorer with 2,523 points ... In the record books, she also stands second in career scoring average (19.3 ppg), second in free throws made (419), fifth in rebounding (966), and holds the UT record for consecutive games in double-figure scoring with a remarkable 33 straight.
