2016-17: Averaged 2.2 3-pointers per game to rank third in the MVC ... Scored 14 points as he hit four 3-pointers in the season opener at Northern Illinois ... Hit a trio of 3-pointers, including one in overtime which paced the Sycamores to an 80-74 victory at Ball State ... Van Scyoc scored 14 points in the win over the Cardinals ... Hit four 3-pointers to tie for the team lead with 14 points in the win over Missouri-St. Louis ... Scored 14 points and converted a key late four-point play with a made 3-pointer and the free throw to tie up the game in an eventual road victory at Utah State ... 2013-14 (The Citadel): Led the team in scoring with 473 points on the season and in the process climbed to 54th in program history with 807 career points … converted 66-of-181 attempts from beyond the arc to become the eighth player in program history with at least 50 3-pointers in back-to-back seasons … his 66 3-pointers mark the 13th-most in a single-season in Bulldog history … knocked down 34 3-pointers against SoCon competition to tie for fifth-most against league opponents … holds the 14th-best career 3-point field goal percentage in Citadel history (.368) after hitting 124-of-337 in his first two seasons … successful on 117-of-136 attempts (.860) at the free throw line to finish with the 21st-best free throw percentage (min. 25 attempts) in a single-season in school history … capped off the 2013-14 campaign ranked 50th in NCAA in free throw percentage … provided the Dogs with 176 total rebounds (second-most) and 23 blocks (second-most) on the season … opened the season with seven double figure scoring performances including a 21-point showing against Army at the All-Military Classic and a 23-point outing against Montreat, keyed by hitting 5-of-10 from 3-point range … likewise, hit 40 straight free throws after missing two in the season-opener against VMI … assembled one of the best months of his career in January as he had a career-high eight games in double figures … among his standout January outings included three 20-point affairs against Wofford (22), Appalachian State (24) and Western Carolina (25), which set his career-high … enjoyed a pair of double-doubles in January against league opponents UNCG (16 pts., 11 rebs.) and Western Carolina (25 pts., 10 rebs.) … closed out the regular season by scoring 19 points in consecutive victories over Samford and Georgia Southern … scored 20 points in the opening round of the SoCon Tournament over UNCG and in the process joined Ashton Moore (24 pts.) as the eighth set of Citadel teammates to score 20 points in a SoCon Tournament game since 1961. 

2012-13 (The Citadel): Made an immediate impact on The Citadel lineup by becoming the first freshman in program history to rank in the top 10 in points (fifth-321), field goals made (eighth-110), 3-point field goals made (third-58), free throws made (sixth-56) and minutes played (fourth-928) … joined 2007-08 freshmen Austin Dahn, Zach Urbanus and Cameron Wells as the only Bulldog rookie to start all 30 contests … placed in the top five of 13 statistical categories for the 2012-13 season including minutes (second-928), field goals made (second-110), field goals attempted (second-259), 3-point field goals (first-58), 3-point field goals attempted (first-156), free throws made (third-56), free throws attempted (fourth-73), free throw percentage (third-.767), offensive rebounds (fourth-19), defensive rebounds (fourth-74), total rebounds (fourth-93), blocks (first-20) and points (second-334) … tabbed all-freshman team by the Southern Conference coaches and media after ranking 23rd in league scoring average (11.6), 10th in league free throw percentage (77.6) and eighth among conference teams in 3-point field goals made (35) … responded with 18 points (5-10 FG), seven rebounds and three steals in his collegiate debut against VMI … finished with a team-high 16 points after hitting 6-of-9 from the floor and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc in a 62-45 win over Montreat … was 7-of-11 (.636) from the field, including three 3-pointers, en route to a game-high 17 points in a win over Union (Ky.) … registered a game-high 20 points after converting 6-of-14 from the field and 5-of-10 from 3-point range against Chattanooga … continued his hot shooting stretch with a 19-point effort against Samford where he connected on 6-of-14 field goals and 4-of-9 from beyond the arc … led the Dogs to a 70-55 victory over Georgia Southern after notching a game-high 21 points by knocking down 7-of-11 (.636) from the floor and 5-of-8 (.625) from 3-point range … finished off January with three 20-point contests following a 20-point outing against Elon in which he was 7-of-14 from the field … established a season-high in points (24) during The Citadel’s 80-77 overtime victory at Appalachian State … successfully knocked down 8-of-12 (.667) from the field and converted 4-of-6 (.667) from beyond the arc, while climbing the glass for six rebounds against the Mountaineers.

High School: Graduated from Green Lake High School in Green Lake, Wisc. … left as all-time leading scorer (1,764 points) and rebounder (828) for both Green Lake High School and the Trailway Conference … knocked down 55-of-110 of his attempts from beyond the arc in 2012, giving him the best 3-point field goal percentage (50%) of any player in the state of Wisconsin … came through with a pair of 40-point outings when he finished with 42 points against Rio on Nov. 29, four days after a 41-point showing against Wautoma … wrapped up his senior season with a 12-point outing, hitting 4-of-12 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line, in the 2012 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) D5 All-Star Game … established a Trailway Conference single-season record in points (561) and rebounds (306) and earned a pair of conference Most Valuable Player awards over the course of his career …  was a unanimous first team WBCA all-state selection in consecutive seasons … named all-state and first team all-conference on three occasions … and enjoyed success in the classroom where he was recognized as one of 32 athletes by the Wisconsin Athletic Association as an exemplary scholar-athlete … a three-sport athlete, Van Scyoc earned four letters each in track and cross country … played for coach Dennis Brooks.
