Will Delgado

In his third season as a student manager and video coordinator for the Indiana State basketball program is Will Delgado.

Delgado’s duties include game day and practice preparation, video editing, film exchange and directing the summer basketball camps.  Additionally, he is involved with many aspects of everyday operations and assists the coaching staff with travel, video editing, community service and many day-to-day office duties. 

Prior to coming to Indiana State, Delgado served as an assistant coach in Chicago at Lincoln Park High School (IL) where they won 4 IHSA State Regional championships in 5 seasons.  There he assisted with scouting, on-court coaching and player development, which included 9 Division I college basketball players during his 8 season in Chicago Public Schools. 

In the off season, Delgado is also well known in the camp circuit serving as a coach and clinician at the famed 5 Star Basketball Camps, Pete Newell Tall Women’s Camps and Snow Valley Basketball Schools, as well as many other college camps.

Delgado hails from Santa Cruz, CA where he played at Santa Cruz High School for Pete Newell, Jr. (son of the late Basketball Hall of Fame coach, Pete Newell).  He currently resides in Terre Haute with his wife, Holly, and is finishing degree requirements in Physical Education from Indiana State.
