Biography

2012 (Football) - Named to the All-MVFC First Team after taking home second team and all-newcomer honors last year ... He punted 62 times for 2,736 yards, an average of 44.1 yards per punt, including a long of 66 yards at Southern Illinois ... Hileman's 44.1 yards per punt was the best in the MVFC and ranked seventh nationally while his 44.1 yards per punt is also a new single-season school record ... The Sycamores owned a 39.45 average in net punting, which led the MVFC and was third nationally ... Hileman averaged over 40 yards per punt in all eight league games and in 10-of-11 games overall and he had a 50.7 average per punt following the Drake contest ... He owned 19 punts over 50 yards for the season and pinned the opponent inside their own 20 a total of 22 times and gave up just 10 touchbacks and forced 10 fair catches.



2012 (Baseball)
- Made 30 starts and 20 appearances off the bench ... hit .237 with five doubles and three triples ... drove in 14 runs while scoring 22 times ... went 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts ... picked up 10 outfield assists throughout the season, including throwing out four runners at the plate ... went 3-for-4 with four runs scored against Illinois Springfield on March 27 ... picked up a pair of RBIs at UIC (April 3) and at Southern Illinois (May 11) ... went 3-for-5 with the go-ahead RBI in ISU's 6-3 win over Missouri State on May 15 to secure the regular season championship.


2011 (Football) -
Earned second team all-conference honors as well as MVFC All-Newcomer plaudits after leading the league in punting in his first season with the football team, averaging 42.2 yards per punt ... Made 38 punts this season, with nine kicks
going over 50 yards with seven being downed inside the 20 ... Led ISU to a net punting average of 38.2 yards as a team, checking in first in the conference and sixth nationally ... Put together his best game of the season against Southern Illinois on Nov. 19, averaging 53.2 yards on five punts (266 total yards) with three kicks over 50 yards.

2011 (Baseball) - Battled an early-season foot injury throughout the majority of the 2011 season, playing in 52 games with 49 starts ... hit .260 at the plate, with 11 doubles and one triple ... scored 29 runs and drove in 18 ... went 7-for-9 in stolen base attempts ... did not make an error in the outfield in 90 chances, recording five outfield assists ... tallied a season-high two hits on 13 separate occasions, picking up a pair of RBIs four times ... picked up two doubles at Illinois on March 25 and against Eastern Illinois on March 30.

John A. Logan College
- Played one season at John A. Logan College under head coach Jerry Halstead ... hit .340 with four home runs, 25 RBIs and 18 stolen bases ... selected to the USA NJCAA All-Star Baseball Team that played in Haarlem, Netherlands.

Baylor University
- Played one season at Baylor University under head coach Steve Smith ... made 13 starts for the Bears while playing in 25 total games as a freshman ... hit .395 with a pair of doubles and seven RBIs ... tallied 17 hits overall in 43 plate appearances ... went 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts.

High School - Pitched and played outfield for four years at Anna-Jonesboro High School head coach Jake Alley ... led Wildcats to regionals in each of his final three seasons and a conference title as a senior ... 2008 Southern Illinois Player of the Year and first-team all-state ... two-time all-region and three-time all-conference selection ... 2008 Under Armor and Louisville Slugger Preseason All-America ... hit .400 with 28 runs, 11 doubles, 20 walks and 38 stolen bases as a sophomore ... Hit .462 with 34 runs, 14 doubles, three home runs, 24 walks and 32 steals during junior campaign ... Hit .532 with six home runs, 33 RBI, 32 walks and 28 stolen bases as a senior ... also earned four letters for Anna-Jonesboro football team, posting a 28-1 career record as starting quarterback ... selected in the 37th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the Atlanta Braves.
