Turpin competed for the Terre Haute North Patriots, where she lettered two years in basketball and four years in track. Her personal best throw on the shot put is 41 feet 6 inches.
Personal
Alissa Michelle Turpin was born December 17, 1994 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Christa Stultz and Michael Turpin. She has three siblings; Lexie Renea, Jaun Christopher, and Edward Turpin. Turpin is a nursing major with plans to become a nurse practioner after college. Her hobbies include hiking, fishing, swimming, spending time with friends and family.
