Had one assisted tackle in the season opener vs. Butler before tearing his ACL and missing the remainder of the season.

Played in 11 games for the Sycamores, including five starts at a linebacker position...Tallied 33 total tackles on the year, including seven solo stops...Had nine multi-tackle efforts, including a season-best six at Illinois State...Posted tackles for a loss at Missouri State and at South Dakota State...Recorded a quarterback sack at South Dakota State.

Three year letter winner at Decatur Central High School under head coach Justin Dixson...During the 2012 season he was named: Mooresville-Decatur Times All-Area, All-Mid State Conference, Indianapolis Pre-Season All-State, 5A Pre-Season All-State, All-Marion County, Indianapolis Super Team Honorable Mention, All-State Honorable Mention, and ESPN Chicago Nike Sparq All-Combine Team...Was the 2011 Decatur Central Hammer of the Year and 2010 Decatur Central Linebacker of the Year...Also lettered two years in track and basketball.
