Named as an Honorable Mention member of the MVFC All-Academic team for the second-straight season...Played in 11 games, starting in 10…Second on ISU’s roster with 75 total tackles (41 solo)…Had two interceptions on consecutive drives that were returned for 23 yards vs. Butler in the season opener…Had five total passes defended, four QB hurries and one fumble recovery…Ranked 16th in the MVFC with 6.8 tackles/game…Led ISU in tackles vs. NDSU (12) and Illinois State (9)…Has 248 career stops through three seasons at ISU.

Earned a spot on the Capital One Academic All-District Team ... Also named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Academic squad ... Ranked tied for third in the league with three fumbles forced and tied for seventh with two fumbles recovered ... Averaged 5.9 tackles per game to rank 35th in the conference ... Played and started in all 14 games for the Sycamores at linebacker ... Recorded 82 total tackles, including 40 solos ... Had 7.5 tackles for a loss of 21 yards and a pair of quarterback sacks ... Named to MVFC All-Newcomer Team ... Finished second in the league's Freshman Of The Year balloting and was third in the MVFC Newcomer Of The Year race ... Was the Sycamores' leading tackler with 91 stops, including nine tackles for a loss and four quarterback sacks and was credited with one pass breakup ... Recorded at least four tackles in all 12 games and had two double digit tackle performances, including a season-best 17 stops at nationally-ranked South Dakota State ... Had three tackles for a loss at South Dakota with a pair of quarterback sacks and ranked eighth in the league in total tackles, tops amongst all freshmen ... In MVFC only contests, he ranked tied for ninth in total tackles and was the top freshman ... Ranked tied for 13th in quarterback sacks and was the league’s top freshman in MVFC games ... Finished 16th in MVFC games only for tackles for a loss and was also the league’s top freshman in that category.

A three year letter winner at Proviso West High School for coach Famous Hulbert...was named Team Defensive Player of the Year during his junior season and Most Improved Player during his sophomore campaign...recorded 100 tackles, one INT, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and eight passes broken up...also lettered four years in wrestling.
