Cross Country –
2013 - Jones ran a 5,000 meter time of 20:04.7 at the Notre Dame Invitational to place 164th overall. She placed 191st at the Pre-Nationals in a time of 23:52.5 for 6,000 meters. Jones ran a huge personal best time of 19:29.7 for 5,000 meters at the MVC championships to place 52nd and 182nd at the Great Lakes Regional in 23:52 for 6,000 meters.
2012 – Ran a personal best 6K time of 24:18 at Great Lakes Region Championship to place 195th … ran 24:41 at Pre-National Invitational to finish 215th … finished 27th at 5K Hoosier Invitational (20:46) and 41st in three mile Bradley Open (19:17).
2011 – Ran a personal best 17:14 at the Evansville Mid-America 4K event … tied her personal best in the 5K with a time of 20:35 in placing 19th in the open division of the Indiana Intercollegiates.
2010 – Placed 14th in the Open Division at the Indiana Intercollegiates (20:36), 20th at Sycamore Pride (20:35), and 52nd in the Open Division at the Notre Dame Invitational (20:53).
Indoor Track & Field –
2013 – Competed in mile and 3,000 meters … posted career best time of 5:28.38 in mile at Grand Valley State Big Meet … ran career best 10:52.52 in 3,000 meters at Indiana Relays.
2012 – Ran career best 2:36.02 in 800 meters at ISU Open.
2011 –Did not compete.

2013 – Ran collegiate best in 1500 meters (5:01.48) at Saluki Invitational.
2012 – Ran career best 5:24.69 in 1,500 meters at Pacesetter Quadrangular.

Lettered in cross country, basketball, and track & field all four years at Terre Haute North High School … named All-MIC … named Most Valuable Player three times … received Gold Medal Award in cross country two years … received Mental Attitude Award … holds school record as member of 4x800 meter relay team.

Lindy Jo Jones was born on June 30, 1991, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Claudia Jones … majoring in Marketing at Indiana State … interests include going to concerts, playing basketball, and watching the Los Angeles Lakers… member Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
