Adam Judge is beginning his sixth year at Indiana State, coaching the Sycamore throwers.
Under the tutelage of Judge, Indiana State throwers have won 11 conference events and competed in the NCAA Championships on four separate occasions.
The Sycamores continue to excel in the throws under Judge’s tutelage with four Indiana State athletes advancing to compete in the East Preliminary Round during the outdoor season including Kelsey Hanley, Felisha Johnson, Tara Perigo, and Brandon Pounds. In addition, Hanley competed in her second straight NCAA Indoor Championship while Johnson, Pounds, and Josh Williams provisionally qualified but did not compete in the Indoor Championship.
Two Sycamores, Kelsey Hanley and Brandon Pounds, provisionally qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2009 with Hanley competing and finishing 15th overall while Pounds just missed an opportunity to compete. Hanley, Pounds, Lyle Nolcox and Joshua Williams all competed in the Mideast Regional during the outdoor season. Pounds won the shot put and weight throw at the MVC Indoor Championships, and won the shot put at the MVC Outdoor Championships. Williams was second in the hammer throw at the MVC Outdoor Championships with Hanley third in the women’s discus.

In addition to his collegiate accolades, Judge also competed in the 2004 Olympic Trials in the hammer throw.
