Season cut short due to COVID-19 ... Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team ... Appeared in seven games out of the bullpen for the Sycamores, recording a team high five saves ... Finished the year with a 1.59 ERA over 11.1 innings to go with a 0-1 record ... Allowed just two earned runs on 11 hits ... One of the best strikeout-to-walk ratios in the nation with 23 batters going down on strikeouts while issuing just one walk ... Faced 48 batters and held the opposition to a .239 average against ... Went a season long 3.1 innings against Kent State (2/15) ... Struck out a season high nine batters against the Golden Flashes (2/15).
2019
Led the Sycamores with nine saves and a 1.91 ERA ... Recorded a record of 2-3 with one combined shutout in 22 games out of the bullpen ... Struck out 48 while issuing just eight walks over 37.2 innings ... Allowed 40 hits while holding opponents to a .274 average against ... Recorded three consecutive saves against Power Five opponents from April 3-9 with saves coming against Purdue, Michigan State and No. 24 Michigan ... Picked up two postseason saves with the first coming against No. 25 Dallas Baptist during the Missouri Valley Conference Championship and another in the opening game of the NCAA Nashville Regional against McNeese ... Picked up wins against Rutgers March 22 and Evansville April 21 ... Went a season long four innings and struck out five batters against McNeese May 31.
2018
Was a standout reliever during his sophomore season, making 21 appearances for the Sycamores ... Pitched 25.1 innings and finished with a 3.76 ERA ... Struck out 20 and allowed just seven walks en route to a 3-0 record ... Closed out three games for the Sycamores earning a trio of saves ... Allowed just five extra-base hits and held opponents to a .277 average against ... Struck out a season high five batters in a win at Evansville (May 13) and struck out three or more batters faced in four outings.Â
2017
Made nine appearances his freshman season, including two starts ... Finished with a 1-1 record and an 8.56 ERA ... Tossed 13.2 innings and allowed 20 hits, 13 earned runs ... Struck out 15 batters and walked five.Â
Prior to Indiana State
A four year letterwinner at Mill Valley High School under head coach Jeff Strickland ... Earned First Team All-League in 2015 and 2016 ... Named Honorable Mention All-State in 2015 ... Was named First Team All-State in 2016 ... Recognized as an All-Region and All-State Tournament Team member in 2016 ... Also lettered in basketball, helping his team to a 2016 State Championship.
