Became just the fourth player in program history to earn Google Cloud Academic All-American status ... Was the seventh player in program history to earn Academic All-District honors ... Earned First Team Scholar-Athlete honors from the MVC ... An iron man behind the plate for the Sycamores, starting 57 games including 30-straight games to close out the season ... Played in 59 games in 2019, finishing with a .296 batting average, a .394 slugging percentage and a .380 on-base percentage ... Finished the year with 60 base hits (8 2B, 4 HR) to go along with 36 RBIs and 38 runs scored ... Reached base on walks 17 times while being hit-by-pitch 13 times to earn a free pass ... Recorded 16 multi-hit games, including three three-hit games, including a three-hit game against McNeese in the NCAA Tournament ... Fielded at a .988 clip and threw out 17 runners stealing bases ... A mainstay behind the plate for the Sycamores, seeing action in 45 games while starting 44 at catcher ... Finished the year with a .258 batting average, a .318 slugging percentage and a .341 on-base percentage ... Collected 39 base hits in 151 at bats ... Hit three doubles and a pair of home runs while scoring 22 times and driving in 22 RBI ... Drew 14 walks and was hit-by-pitch five times ,,, Was 4-of-6 on stolen base opportunities ... Fielded .994 with 272 putouts and 34 assists ... Gunned down 12 of the 34 would-be base stealers for a .647 stolen base percent against which was top three in the MVC ... Collected 10 multi-hit games to go along with seven multi-RBI games ... Connected on his first collegiate home run in the series finale at Austin Peay March 4 ... Drove in a season high three RBI at The Citadel March 16 ... Also homered in the opening game of the MVC Tournament against Southern Illinois May 23.Â

Saw action in 12 games including four starts his freshman season ... Recorded three hits in 17 at bats for a .176 average ... Fielded 1.000 with nine putouts and two assists.Â
