2012 - ISU's midweek starter throughout the season, going 6-1 with a 2.63 ERA in 11 starts and four bullpen appearances ... also collected one save, getting the final out against UT Martin on March 10 ... led ISU to the championship of the 2012 Irish Baseball Classic, allowing just three hits and one run in 6.2 innings against Notre Dame in San Antonio, Texas, on March 18 ... struck out a season-high 10 batters in seven shutout innings against Eastern Illinois on March 6 ... set ISU up for a win at #13 Purdue, allowing two hits in 6.2 shutout innings before the Boilermakers rallied for an extra-inning win ... allowed just 19 runs (18 earned) in 61.2 innings.

Perry Meridian HS - A four-year letterwinner in baseball while at Perry Meridian under head coach John Carpenter ... earned all-conference honors twice and one all-county selection ... batted .486 as a senior, totaling eight home runs, seven triples and seven doubles with 43 RBIs ... led the conference in innings pitched, tossing 61.1 innings with a 9-1 record and a 1.26 ERA with 104 strikeouts ... pitched four complete games and two shutouts as a senior ... hit .446 as a junior with 28 runs batted in while going 6-3 on the mound with a 1.02 ERA and 81 strikeouts over 62 innings pitched ... also played basketball for three seasons at PMHS.
