2013 – Made 19 bullpen appearances and two starts as a junior … posted a 3-1 record and a 3.64 ERA, tossing 42 innings on the mound … led the team with seven pickoffs … led the team 10.1 innings pitched during the MVC Tournament, including an emergency start in the opening game of the tournament … pitched a season-high 5.1 innings with four strikeouts and one run allowed against Creighton in the opening round of the conference tournament, entering the game in the first inning after Sean Manaea was unable to pitch following warmup tosses … returned three days later against Wichita State in an elimination game, allowing two runs on four hits over five innings … earned victories against College of Charleston (February 22), Creighton (April 14) and in the MVC Tournament against Creighton (May 21) … struck out a season-high five batters in 4.2 innings against SIU Edwardsville on May 7 … after not recording a strikeout in his first 11 appearances, fanning 24 batters in his final 10 outings.
