First Team All-MVC selection ... named to the MVC All-Defensive Team ... First Team Academic All-MVC ... led the Sycamores with a .333 (59-for-177) batting average in 47 starts ... tallied 10 doubles, two triples and three home runs at the plate with 28 RBIs and 30 runs scored ... hit his stride during the conference season, hitting .405 (32-for-79), ranking third overall in the league ... one of Indiana State's toughest batters to strike out, fanning just 19 times all season and only four times in ISU's 21 conference games ... recorded a season-high four hits and four RBIs against Southern Illinois on May 21.

2010 - Second team all-conference selection ... saw action in 48 games, starting 45 times ... hit .326 with 13 doubles, one home run, 24 RBIs and 40 runs scored ... his lone home run of the season came during the four straight hit by the Sycamores in the ninth inning in their comeback win over Saint Louis on March 16 ... led the team with 255 putouts during the season ... one of the toughest batters to strike out on the team, recording just 17 strikeouts in 175 plate at-bats.

High School - A three-sport athlete while at West Vigo High School ... lettered for four seasons in baseball under head coach Steve DeGroote ... also lettered in basketball and tennis ... selected in the 35^th round by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft ... named to the all-state team following his senior year ... carried a .490 batting average along with 46 RBI during his senior season ... tied a WVHS record for hits in a single season with 49 as a senior.
