2013 – Started nine games with six bullpen appearances … went 1-5 with a 4.61 ERA, striking out 43 batters in 52.2 innings … ranked third on the team in innings pitched, while finishing fourth in strikeouts … posted a 4.3-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio, ranking in the Top 100 in the NCAA … struck out a season-high nine batters in 6.2 innings at Missouri State on March 31 … his 6.2 innings pitched against the Bears was also a season best … did not walk more than two batters in any appearance, walking no batters in eight outings … picked up his win in 2013 following three shutout innings of work against Purdue on April 9 … suffered a broken bone in his pitching elbow late in the season.
