Pascal Paul joined the Sycamores in August of 2019 as the Volunteer Assistant.
Paul spent the previous five seasons at Iowa Western Community College as an assistant coach for the Reivers. At IWCC, he worked with Reiver pitchers while also playing a key role in recruiting, in-game pitching adjustments and camps. Some of his other duties with the Reivers were coordinating travel, strength and conditioning and coaching first base.

During his five season in Iowa, IWCC recorded 253 wins (50 per year), five consecutive ICCAC regular season Conference Championships, four NJCAA World Series Appearances, four Regional & District Titles, 11 NJCAA All-Americans, one NJCAA Pitcher of the Year and three of the highest MLB draft picks (3rd round, 5th round, 6th round) in program history -- all three being pitchers. On the mound the Reivers were consistently at the top of national rankings finishing with the top ERA in the country twice in 2015 and 2018. In total, 59 Reivers went on to sign Division I scholarships.

A native of Merrill, Wisconsin, Paul graduated from Merrill High School in 2010 where he played three sports and helped the baseball to team to a state tournament berth. Upon graduation Paul went on to attend Iowa Western Community College where he led the Reivers to a third-place finish in 2011 and a National Championship in 2012.Â

After IWCC Pascal went on to play for West Virginia University where he led the Mountaineers in saves and appearances in 2013 and 2014. While at West Virginia, Paul helped the Mountaineers to a third-place finish in the BIG 12 in 2013.

Paul is the son of John and Wendy, and has three brothers Jason, Adam, Ray.
