High School: Played four years at Downers Grove South High School, Downers Grove, IL, and lettered two years. Was named All-Area and All-Conference. Had a .300 batting averge with a home run and 25 RBI.

Personal: Born on May 16, 1989, in Hinsdale, IL, the son of Robert and Barbara Riegler. Majoring in Special Education. Plans to teach after college. Interests include bowling and hanging out with family and friends. Has two brothers, Bradley and Brett. Brad plays baseball at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
